Climate Change

The topic of climate changs has been the much debated subject amongst our politicians and governments. Some have thrust all their power and resources into research whilst contrarily, others refuse to accept its existence. Climate change has impacted me in a really big way. The earth no longer feels the same to me. Take for example the earth’s tempearture-constantly fluctuating like Jordan and Peter Andre’s relationship.

“Is Darren a new advocate in the campiagn against climate change?” I hear you cry. Well, basically, I went from a hot country to, what can we call it; an unpredictable one; Britain! I look back upon my time in the Dominican Republic and remember those hot days when I only wore shorts and T-Shirts. One did not even need to cream my face after showering; that’s a big thing for a black person! Now, I’m sitting here dressed like I’m about to play some kind of winter sport. Thick jogging pants, sports socks, two t-shirts and a heavy hoody-I’m only missing skis and a visor!  

I have a cold and I’m trying to stay warm; trying to stay warm I repeat! A Domincan would have laughed me out of town if I had said that but not a week ago. The sudden sharp change in climate has played tricks with my system resulting in sore throat and snotty nose-eugh!   Darren is not a happy bunny at the moment.

“Ade, please bring the gloves darling”

I want sunshine, and I want it now!
